Door Window Direct | Limited Product Warranty

At Door Window Direct, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. This Limited Product Warranty is provided to the original purchaser and applies to our residential and commercial products, including bi-fold doors, windows, entry doors, and related components.

1 Warranty Coverage

Component Coverage Period Protection
Frames & Sashes 10 Years Defects in materials, structural integrity, and workmanship.
Insulated Glass Units 5 Years Seal failure resulting in moisture or condensation between glass panes.
Hardware & Screens 2 Years Defects in materials, workmanship, and normal mechanical operation.

2 What Is Covered

Door Window Direct warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or commercial use during the applicable warranty period.

This warranty includes:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Structural failure of frames or sashes caused by manufacturing defects.
  • Insulated glass seal failure resulting in permanent fogging or moisture between glass panes.
  • Premature deterioration of covered components when properly installed, maintained, and used under normal conditions.

3 What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, aging, fading, discoloration, or cosmetic imperfections that do not affect product performance.
  • Scratches, dents, chips, or damage occurring after delivery.
  • Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, negligence, vandalism, fire, flooding, severe weather, earthquakes, or other natural disasters.
  • Improper installation, improper handling, structural movement, building settlement, or failure to follow installation instructions.
  • Damage caused by modifications, alterations, repairs, or service performed by anyone not authorized by Door Window Direct.
  • Improper maintenance, use of harsh chemicals, or failure to follow recommended care and maintenance procedures.
  • Labor costs for removal, reinstallation, finishing, painting, staining, shipping, or other incidental expenses unless otherwise required by applicable law.

4 Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your product has a warranty defect, please follow these steps:

  1. Retain your original proof of purchase, such as your invoice or sales receipt.
  2. Notify Door Window Direct in writing within 30 days after discovering the alleged defect.
  3. Provide photographs, a description of the issue, and any additional information reasonably requested.
  4. Allow Door Window Direct or its representative reasonable access to inspect the product if necessary.

If the product is determined to be covered under this warranty, Door Window Direct will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective product or component;
  • Replace the defective product or component with the same or a comparable product; or
  • Refund the original purchase price of the defective product.

5 Warranty Limitations

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • Door Window Direct's total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the defective product.
  • Door Window Direct shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, lost profits, or property damage, except where prohibited by applicable law.
  • This Limited Warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by Door Window Direct and replaces all other express warranties. Any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
